John Mooney is the Club's senior coach once again this year, and he has given us a few words on what he hopes to see from the 1st team this season.
"I am really looking forward to the games getting back up and running. It's nice to have a the T20s at the start of the year and fingers crossed with get a full league programme in.
“Eddie Richardson is captain again this year, and while we have no overseas player this year, a few familiar faces have come back to play, and with our keen crop of youngsters another year older, we are hoping that can make up for it.
“Our main goal will be to be competing on the final day of the season for promotion to Division 1".
The season opener for the 1st team ended in defeat against The Hills on Monday, but they are back in action with a trip to Trinity College to play Dublin University on Saturday.
