After their brilliant league and cup double last season, our 3rd Team have reached yet another final!
Victory over Tyrrelstown in the semi-final last weekend, led by Rob O'Byrne's match winning innings of 78 from 56 balls, secured their place in the Middle Cup Final against Phoenix 4ths at Inch this Saturday.
Captain Irfan Arshad is eyeing up another piece of silverware for his team, and ahead of the final this Saturday he had this to say : "Another Season comes closer to the end in a crescendo of finals and the last mile to the league titles. One thing is for sure, like we do for every ball, every over, every innings and every match, we will support each other through think and thin. My 3rd team and I are truly thrilled and feel blessed to have each other and be in yet another final this year."
Phoenix sit in 4th place in the Division 9 table, just one place behind North County, and their only meeting so far this season saw North County win by 52 runs. It promises to be an entertaining final, so make sure to come down to Inch on Saturday to support the lads.
